New Mayday Blog from Jake

The past 3 months have been a mess.  I've been sick for more than 3
months now which makes life on the road difficult.  I wake up every
night with this unstoppable cough that keeps everyone up.  My throat
feels like a sand paper every time I swallow anything and it almost
makes eating a miserable experience.  Luckily, I'm finally caught up
to the U.S. sleep schedule.  Being in Japan and Australia time zones
really screwed me up.  I'm sure that didn't help my body much either.
I missed seeing kangaroos and kuala bears at the zoo the first day we
arrived in Brisbane because I felt so bad.  I slept through all of it.
 :*(

Good news and bad news though.  We've been writing a lot of songs on
our Mac's in Garage Band.  A lot of cool stuff is coming out.  Stuff I
wish we could share with all of you.  Unfortunately, the majority of
it is still sad stuff. I honestly haven't been truly happy in a long
time.  I love what I do but it keeps me from the things I love.
Girls!  Who needs them right?  Wrong!  I used to say that.  I always
thought they were bad news ever since my really bad break up I had
after being with someone I thought I was going to marry after 5 years.
Hints..where Three Cheers For Five Years came from.  Now don't get me
wrong, no one is quitting the band because that would be dumb.  We're
gonna tour until it kills us.  And we're gonna reach the ears of as
many people as we can until it's physically not possible for us to do
so.

If you ever get a chance, go buy the new Four Year Strong and All Time
Low records.  Such good shit.

Thanks for caring...

Jake
